04TECHNICAL EVALUATION
What is weathering testing?
US UL safety certification for cable ties tests tensile strength and resistance to ultraviolet (UV) light against the criteria of the UL certification body.
Ties are cycled between 85 °C and -40 °C for about 1,000 hours (roughly two months) and their tensile strength is tested to verify compliance.
UV resistance testing confirms weather-resistant quality for outdoor installations.
