A 300 mm cable tie can offer more than one strap width. Suryong Industry is preparing a new 300 × 6 mm cable tie for applications that call for a wider strap. Preparations for mass production are underway.

The same 300 mm length, with a wider 6 mm strap

The existing AP300 has a 4.8 mm strap. The upcoming version keeps the 300 mm length and widens the strap to 6 mm: an increase of 1.2 mm, or 25%, adding a wider option at the same nominal length.

A wider surface around the bundle

A wider strap provides a broader contact surface around the bundle. Under comparable tightening conditions, this can spread the force over a larger area, offering an option for jobs that need broader contact around cables or materials.

A 25% increase in width does not mean a 25% increase in tensile strength. Actual fastening performance depends on material, thickness, head design and use conditions. Performance details will be provided with the final specifications.

Preparing for mass production

The 300 × 6 mm cable tie has not launched yet and is being prepared for mass production. Launch timing, supply terms and final detailed specifications will be announced when ready. See the product page below for existing specifications.
