Suryong Industrial has been officially recognised as a company with dedicated research staff and a management system. The recognition is expected to strengthen the quality competitiveness of its cable ties and its technology development base.
Cable tie manufacturer Suryong Industrial Co., Ltd. announced on 29 October that its dedicated R&D department has been recognised by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The recognition is significant because it officially confirms the company as having a dedicated R&D organisation under Article 14(2) of the Basic Research Promotion and Technology Development Support Act and Article 27(1) of its Enforcement Decree.
The review was conducted by the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA).
What is a recognised dedicated R&D department?
Recognition of a dedicated R&D department means a company has its own research staff, equipment and management system, and the ability to carry out technology development systematically.
With this recognition, Suryong Industrial has further solidified the research base for strengthening its product technology and quality competitiveness.
Suryong Industrial invests in technology development
Suryong Industrial specialises in producing nylon 66 industrial cable ties and wiring accessories, supplying products in a wide range of sizes and colours for industrial sites in Korea and abroad.
It already holds US UL certification and other international quality certifications, and is pursuing global markets through continuous investment in equipment and technology development.
Following this recognition, Suryong Industrial plans to step up the development of new-material cable ties with high heat resistance and high tensile strength, the use of eco-friendly materials, and research into automated production technology.
